This page explains how SwapRocket works and how competent authorities can submit valid legal requests.

2. Our Operations

SwapRocket operates on these key principles:

  • Your crypto stays yours: We do not custody your funds outside the brief period during which a swap is routed through our liquidity partner. You send crypto from your own wallet to a deposit address generated for your swap.
  • No wallet connection required: SwapRocket never requests wallet connections, signatures, seed phrases, or private keys, and does not interact with smart contracts.
  • Multiple cryptocurrencies: Exchange between major cryptocurrencies across different blockchain networks.
  • Simple process: Select your currencies, send crypto to the deposit address we generate, and receive your swapped funds — no account or wallet connection required.

3. Privacy & Compliance Commitment

Privacy and a policy of regulatory compliance are both built into SwapRocket:

  • No personal information by default: Standard exchanges do not require identification. Where required by law or where a transaction is flagged, we may request verification information, as set out in our Terms of Use.
  • Minimal data by default: For standard exchanges, SwapRocket does not require or collect KYC or personal identification. We hold only minimal data, such as support correspondence and transaction references.
  • Sanctions screening: We screen access against sanctions lists and restrict the Services from sanctioned jurisdictions, consistent with our Terms of Use.
  • Blockchain-based: All transactions occur on public blockchains, not our servers.

SwapRocket maintains a policy of regulatory compliance and will respond to valid, legally binding requests to the extent it holds responsive data.
