Operating model

Non-Custodial Operating Model

SwapRocket is a non-custodial crypto swap service and a marketing/quoting front-end for our liquidity partner's instant swap service. We never custody user funds and never act as a counterparty to user trades.

What SwapRocket does

  • Displays exchange rates, supported assets and pairs
  • Generates a deposit address from our liquidity partner
  • Shows the status of an in-progress swap
  • Provides educational content, FAQs, and guides
  • Provides email support

What SwapRocket NEVER does

  • Ask for seed phrases, private keys, or passwords
  • Request a wallet connection or signature prompt
  • Call window.ethereum, window.solana, or window.phantom
  • Trigger eth_sendTransaction, personal_sign, or eth_signTypedData
  • Deploy or interact with any smart contract from the front-end
  • Request token approvals, permits, or allowances
  • Run wallet-drainer or phishing scripts

How a swap actually works on SwapRocket

  1. The user selects the asset pair and amount on swaprocket.io.

  2. The user pastes their own destination wallet address — never created or stored by us beyond what is needed to fulfill the order.

  3. Our liquidity partner returns a one-time deposit address.

  4. The user sends crypto to that deposit address from their own wallet, on their own initiative.

  5. The swapped asset is delivered to the destination address the user provided.

At no point does swaprocket.io request or receive control over a user's wallet, signing keys, or private credentials. There is no on-site signing flow that the website could hijack.

Infrastructure

Web Application Security

Encryption in Transit

All traffic to swaprocket.io is served over HTTPS (TLS), so the addresses and amounts you enter are encrypted between your browser and our servers.

  • TLS encryption in transit
  • HTTPS on every page
  • No passwords or card details entered on our site

No Custody of Funds

Swaps run between your own wallet and our liquidity partner. SwapRocket never holds your coins, so there is no SwapRocket balance or hot wallet of yours that could be exposed.

  • Funds go straight to your wallet
  • No deposits held by SwapRocket
  • No wallet connections or signatures

Minimal Data

There are no user accounts. We keep only what is needed to process and support a swap, such as the destination address and transaction reference.

  • No account or sign-up
  • No KYC for standard swaps
  • Only order data needed for support
