How to Exchange Crypto
Follow these simple steps to exchange one cryptocurrency for another using SwapRocket.
1: Select your cryptocurrency pair
Choose the cryptocurrency you want to exchange (From) and the cryptocurrency you want to receive (To) using the dropdown menus. You can search for cryptocurrencies by name or ticker symbol.
2: Enter amount to exchange
Enter the amount you want to exchange in the 'You send' field. The estimated amount you'll receive will be calculated automatically based on the current exchange rate.
3: Enter recipient wallet address
Enter your wallet address where you want to receive the exchanged cryptocurrency. Double-check this address to ensure it's correct - transactions cannot be reversed!
4: Review transaction details
Verify all transaction details including the exchange rate, fees, and estimated time. Make sure everything is correct before proceeding.
5: Send cryptocurrency to deposit address
Send your cryptocurrency to the provided deposit address. You can copy the address or scan the QR code with your wallet app.
6: Wait for confirmation
Wait for your transaction to be confirmed on the blockchain. This typically takes 5-30 minutes depending on the cryptocurrencies involved and network congestion.
7: Receive your exchanged cryptocurrency
Once the exchange is complete, your new cryptocurrency will be sent to the wallet address you provided. You can track the transaction status on the blockchain explorer.
