To swap SOL to ETH without KYC, open the SOL to ETH exchange, enter the amount, paste your Ethereum receiving address and a Solana refund address, then send the SOL from your own wallet. There is no account and no email. A typical swap takes 5 to 30 minutes, and SOL deposits are usually at the quicker end because Solana confirms fast.
- Solana and Ethereum are separate networks. SOL cannot be sent to an Ethereum address; it has to be exchanged.
- You need an Ethereum address (it starts with
0x) to receive ETH and a Solana address for refunds. - You receive native ETH on Ethereum, with no bridge and no wrapped token.
- The rate is floating. The estimate shown before you send already includes the fee and the Ethereum payout fee.
- Standard swaps need no KYC. The licensed liquidity provider screens transactions and can, rarely, hold a flagged one and ask for verification.
Why SOL has to be swapped for ETH
SOL and ETH are the native coins of two different blockchains. Their address formats differ, and neither network can read the other. Turning SOL into ETH means either exchanging one coin for the other, or bridging, which leaves you with a wrapped representation on the other chain and a further trade to make.
An exchange is the direct route when what you need is ETH itself, for example to pay gas on Ethereum, to use an Ethereum application or to pay someone in ETH. Each coin has its own page: the Solana (SOL) exchange page and the Ethereum (ETH) exchange page.
Three ways to swap SOL to ETH
| Route | What you receive | ID check | Who holds the funds | Main thing that goes wrong |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Deposit-address swap (SwapRocket and similar services) | Native ETH | None for standard swaps; a flagged transaction can be held for verification | You, apart from the moment of the swap | A wrong receiving address |
| Exchange account | ETH after a withdrawal | Yes, as a rule | The exchange, until you withdraw | Account holds and withdrawal delays |
| Bridge, then a trade | A wrapped token first, then ETH | None | You | Wrong token or network, contract risk |
All three work. This guide covers the first. For the model in general, see how no-KYC exchanges work, and for the bridge route, the cross-chain bridge guide.
Before you swap
- A Solana wallet holding your SOL. Keep a little SOL back for the network fee.
- An Ethereum wallet address to receive ETH. It starts with
0x. You do not need to hold any ETH beforehand, and the ETH you receive can pay gas for whatever you do next. - A Solana address for refunds, normally the wallet you are sending from.
If the receiving address belongs to an exchange account or another service, check first that it accepts ETH deposits on the Ethereum network.
Step-by-step: swap SOL to ETH on SwapRocket
Step 1: Open the pair and enter the amount
Go to the SOL to ETH exchange. SOL is the coin you send and ETH the coin you receive. Enter the amount of SOL. The form shows the minimum for the pair and the estimated amount of ETH. To look at the rate without starting a swap, use the SOL to ETH converter.
Step 2: Read the estimate
SwapRocket uses a floating rate. The estimate already includes the fee and the Ethereum payout fee, and nothing is added afterwards. The final amount follows the market until your deposit is confirmed and the swap is executed. Fixed vs floating swap rates explains the difference between the two models.
Step 3: Paste your Ethereum receiving address
Copy your 0x address from your Ethereum wallet and paste it. Compare the first and last characters. This is the field that matters most: a payout sent to a wrong address cannot be reversed.
Step 4: Add a Solana refund address
If a swap cannot be completed, the SOL is returned to this address, minus network fees.
Step 5: Send the SOL
Start the swap and you are shown a Solana deposit address. Send the amount you entered from your own wallet, in a single transaction.
Step 6: Receive the ETH
Once the deposit confirms on Solana, the swap is executed and ETH is sent to your Ethereum address. You can follow the payout on an Ethereum block explorer.
If you have never made a swap, your first crypto swap, step by step covers the flow in more detail.
Costs and timing
What you pay. The Solana network fee for your deposit comes out of your wallet and is small. The swap fee and the Ethereum payout fee are already inside the estimate. Because the Ethereum payout fee does not shrink with the size of the swap, it weighs more on a small swap than on a large one, and it is higher when Ethereum is busy. The number to compare is the amount of ETH you are estimated to receive. What "no fee" really means explains where the costs of a swap sit.
How long it takes. A typical swap takes 5 to 30 minutes, set mostly by how fast the deposited coin confirms. Solana confirms quickly, so this pair is usually toward the shorter end. Congestion on Ethereum can add time to the payout.
Common problems and how to fix them
The SOL was sent but no ETH has arrived
Check on a Solana explorer that your deposit succeeded. Then allow for the swap and the Ethereum payout. If the deposit is confirmed and nothing has arrived after a reasonable wait, email support@swaprocket.io with your swap ID and the transaction hash. Crypto swap stuck? explains each status.
The form says the amount is below the minimum
Each pair has a minimum so that the swap is worth more than the network fees. Increase the amount to at least the minimum shown.
The wallet shows no ETH
Make sure the wallet is set to the Ethereum network, not to a layer-2 or another chain that also uses 0x addresses. The same address exists on all of them, and the payout is on the network of the asset you selected in the form.
The wrong receiving address was pasted
A confirmed transfer cannot be reversed. Always paste from your wallet's receive screen and compare the first and last characters. For a large amount, swap a small amount first.
Safety checklist for a no-KYC swap
- Open SwapRocket from your own bookmark, not from an ad or a link in a message.
- A deposit-address swap never asks you to connect a wallet or enter a seed phrase.
- Note your swap ID until the ETH has arrived.
- Blockchains are public. An account-free swap means no documents handed over for a standard swap, not hidden transactions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I swap SOL to ETH without KYC?
Yes, for a standard swap. There is no account and no email. The licensed liquidity provider that executes the swap screens transactions and can, rarely, hold a flagged one and ask for verification.
How long does it take to swap SOL to ETH?
Typically 5 to 30 minutes. It can be longer when a network is congested.
Is a SOL to ETH swap the same as a bridge?
No. A bridge gives you a wrapped version of a token on another chain. A swap exchanges SOL for native ETH, delivered to your Ethereum address.
Do I need ETH in my wallet to receive ETH?
No. Receiving costs nothing on your side. The payout network fee is already included in the estimate.
Is the SOL to ETH rate fixed?
No. SwapRocket uses a floating rate only. The final amount follows the market until the swap is executed.
Should I swap to ETH or to a stablecoin?
If you need ETH to use on Ethereum, swap to ETH. If you only want to step out of SOL's price swings, a stablecoin does that job, for example through the SOL to USDT exchange.
